Car accidents involving teens increase during the summer

Summer is just around the corner and that means that more people, especially teenagers, will be on the road in New Jersey. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that every summer there is an increase in car accidents among teen drivers in the U.S.

Fewer homeowners sued for dog bites in New Jersey, US

Dog bite incidents have declined during the last year in New Jersey and throughout the country. However, reports show that although fewer dog bite claims are being submitted to homeowner's insurance policies, settlements for dog bite claims have actually increased, according to the Insurance Information Institute and State Farm. 

Study finds cellphone-related car accidents underreported

Car accidents caused by distracted drivers using cell phones are underreported in the U.S., according to the National Safety Council. Underreporting car accidents caused by cell phone use downplays the dangers of distracted driving and can deter safety efforts aimed at reducing distracted driving accidents.
