Most drivers already know that it becomes more difficult to see potential hazards and dangers after the sun goes down. Driving after dark is especially dangerous because of what might not be readily seen until it is too late. New Jersey drivers know that they must take extra care at night in order to avoid everyday hazards that can cause a car accident.
According to authorities, a car crash recently occurred that involved four people. Details surrounding the accident are sketchy at this point. A report of the vehicle hitting a pole of some kind is the only detail currently known regarding this crash. The accident killed the 33-year-old driver and his 27-year-old front seat passenger. Both men died on impact.
These men were not the only victims of the crash. There were two 21-year-old women sitting in the back seat. Both were admitted to a local hospital due to injuries that they suffered. One of the women is currently listed in critical condition, while the other woman's condition was reported to be not as serious.
While New Jersey local authorities continue their investigation, the family of the deceased passenger is undoubtedly grieving for the loss of their loved one. They are entitled under the law to commence a wrongful death claim against the driver of the car, seeking the damages sustained in connection with the car accident. Moreover, the injured women can initiate personal injury claims for damages, such as out-of-pocket medical expenses and possible loss of wages while they recover.
