How adoption completed one family

There are many ways to make a family. Some people make the decision to adopt a child or children in order to fulfill their dream. Sometimes this is because they are unable to have their own biological children and sometimes it is simply because they feel drawn to do so. Families here in New Jersey may enjoy the story of how one family decided to pursue adoption after the father went on a mission trip to Ethopia.

The father went on his trip back in 2011 and met a young boy there by chance. The man ended up staying in the guest house of an inn after being in a car accident and having his hotel reservation mixed up. He bonded with the young boy who had almost no family of his own. The man only stayed at the guest house for about three days, but after he returned home, he couldn't stop thinking of the boy, who was 10 years old at the time. After the family discussed the idea together, they emailed their contacts in Ethiopia to ask about adopting the boy.

The process wasn't an easy one, but the family says it was all worth it to have their son. He joined the Bucks' three other biological children, who were all excited to get a new brother. He is now best friends with one of his new brothers, and they even play on the same high school soccer team today. The boy admitted that adjusting to life in the United States was difficult, but he loves his new family. They even all returned to Ethiopia for a recent visit to see some of the boy's extended family.

No matter a family's reason for deciding to adopt, this story shows just how exciting and wonderful the result can be. Those considering adoption here in New Jersey may want to consult a family law attorney with extensive experience in this area of the law. An attorney can ensure that every legal matter is handled properly during the adoption process.
